Students are vital to the success of the Walk for Kids Help Phone! Register now and help show everyone what a difference student walkers can make! Not only will you be helping support youth across the country, you'll have a great time doing it.
Earn volunteer hours:
Get pledges: some students may be eligible to earn volunteer hours through their fundraising efforts. For example raising $100 can equal five hours (*only where applicable and approved by their school – download the student hours form here.
Empire Theatres Student Challenge
Students can earn special prizes from Empire Theatres
Student Walker Fundraising Prize
Top individual fundraiser* in each region will receive 20 Empire Theatre movie passes (minimum raised must be $200).
Student Team Fundraising Prize
Top fundraising Student Team* (two or more registrants) in each region receives 50 general admission movie tickets (minimum raised must be $500)
*Select "I'm a Student" when you register online or check the box on your paper pledge form and you'll be automatically entered in your region (BC, Alberta, Manitoba/Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic).
(Prizes are based on pledges submitted on or before May 2, 2010. All participants registered on Student Teams must be registered as students to qualify. In areas without an Empire Theatres location, substitutions will be made of equal of greater value. To be eligible for these contests, students must be under 25 years old and enrolled in full-time studies.)
